Sketching with Painter 11

I love this program! Painter 11 is so powerful. I have only scratched the surface of what it can do, but I'm having so much fun doing it. I'm playing with pencil sketching. I love to work in graphite anyway, so doing it digital is great. i like being able to move elements around if the composition isn't working out.

  1. Holy cow! what are you using for an input? pad, puck or stylus? or is that all with a mouse?

I have to win the powerball, so I can afford to be you patron. you need a maid, cook and personal assistant so you can devote all you waking time to creating art ;) A modern day, pampered Michelangelo to my Julius II.

[then I can get my drawings for my gun and sword ;) ]

  2. I use a Wacom tablet and stylus. It is amazing to draw with. Takes a little bit of time to adjust to the pixel-to-pixel thing, but once you do, it becomes second nature. Makana picked it up and intuitively used it. NO adjustments for her. But then kids are like that.

If you win the powerball, I will accept your patronage, sir.
